He is also a product and brand endorser and one of his well more known endorsements is the Greenwich pizza chain. John Lloyd has appeared in so many iconic commercials that he has become virtually synomous with it. Revently, the brand pulled off a promotional stunt that was beloved by Lloydie’s fans.
The actor surprised unsuspecting Greenwich customers when he played the part of delivery rider! Shock and confusion crawled over the faces of the customers. John Lloyd Cruz, just like in each of his roles, immersed himself in the identity of his character and played the part to a tee.
He wore the delivery rider outfit and truly embodied the role. With the motorcycle, the visor, and the pizza bag in tow, John Lloyd Cruz handed pizzas over to unsuspecting Greenwich customers. Surely there are a lot of Lloydie fanatics who would give their left arm to be able to eat a pizza delivered by their idol personally.
Lloydie didn’t cut corners and wanted to be the one to do everything for this special promotion.
A video uploaded by “Mr. Tsismoso” on YouTube showed the government office that was surprised by Greenwich and JLC’s promotional stunt. As soon as John Lloyd showed up, the female employees got their cameras out and started screaming. Some even went to him and were treated to a hug from their idol!
The actor was gracious enough to accommodate all of the photo requests that the employees wanted. John Loyd Cruz went to a few more locations and it was the same thing. People went wild and he obliged their photo requests like a true gentleman.
We can only imagine the excitement that these people had upon seeing one of the greatest talents in the country.
