How to get NSO/PSA Certificate Online – Birth, Marriage, Death or CENOMAR

Back in the days when you need to fall in line for almost a day just to get your authenticated NSO/PSA Birth Certificate needed for your job or school. I remember when I was applying abroad and I need to provide the agency with my authenticated NSO/PSA Birth Certificate as part of the requirements.

I visited PSA regional office branch in Legazpi, I have no idea that it would be crowded in the PSA office that time, so I go almost 9 am. I’m a little bit upset when I saw the queue of applicants reach outside the building.

I have no choice but to fall in line, and when I arrive at the counter to submit my application for Birth certificate, there’s no time to process my request and I need to go back again the next day to get the certificate.

This is very time consuming and expensive. We are lucky today because the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) formerly National Statistics Office (NSO) launched their website where you can apply and get your desired certificate online. Not only that, they also partnered with Pilipinas Teleserv a call center agency where you can also apply for NSO/PSA certificate.

As of this writing we have two official websites where we can apply for NSO certificates. The ecensus.com.ph by Unisys and the nsohelpline.com by Pilipinas Teleserv, you can choose either of these two websites to apply for your PSA certificate.

But while searching online, I found some negative feedback when they apply using e-Census website like the certificate they requested did not arrive.

How to get PSA or NSO Certificate Online

To avoid confusion,  I will use the NSO Helpline in this instruction. There are three basic steps to request an NSO certificate in this website, Order Now, Pay Online and Check Status. But in my instruction I list down every step with screenshot to make it easy to follow.

Step 1. Go to NSO helpline, website www.nsohelpline.com then click on  the order now section.

Step 2. Select the NSO certificate that you want to request to get started. In this instruction, I will choose Birth Certificate.

Step 3. Next, Select the purpose of your certificate or where do you need the certificate.

Step 4. If this is your first time to apply for a copy of your certificate select “No” else select “Yes”

Step 5. Fill out the Certificate Application Form completely, then click Continue.

Step 6. If you have any legal proceedings like legitimation, adoption, court hearings, etc. You can now select in this step if not click “None”.

Step 7. Enter the name of the recipient or the person who will receive the certificate. Put your name if you’re the one who will receive, then click submit.

Step 8. Double check your order summary on the left side of the screen, then on the right enter your Contact Info and Delivery Address. On the bottom part the “Checkout Summary”, certify all your entries by ticking the checkbox then click continue.

Step 9. You’re almost done, you just need to Pay your order to confirm. You can select Over the counter via Bayad Center and Metrobank, Online Payment if you have a VISA or Mastercard credit or debit card, BancNet ATM and Globe Gcash for mobile payment.

Step 10. Now that you confirm your NSO certificate thru payment, you can now check the status of your order in the Check Status page. Just enter the Reference number, then click submit. According to the website you can expect to receive your order within 2-3 days.

Reminder

If you’re not around during delivery or the recipient is not around during delivery, you can use the Letter of Authorization provided just below the page. Enter the name of the representative that will receive your certificate then sign it. Also make sure that your representative has at least one valid ID.

Watch: Maria Sofia Love Posts Her Outrageous Take on the Philippine National Anthem

Maria Sofia Love was a breakout internet star in 2015. Her videos which showcased her “modeling para sa ekonomiya” and her funny taglines (“Ituloy ang modeling! Pak!”) were total fan favorites. People couldn’t get enough of her self-styled videos where she walked all over London, partied in clubs and scoping cute guys while eating out. However, one particular video had all of the internet buzzing, and this time for a negative reason.

Facebook page Ang Galing Mo Pinoy uploaded a video of the “model” playing “Lupang Hinirang,” the Philippine National Anthem. Though frowned upon to use such a revered song for unofficial purposes, there really wasn’t anything wrong with it until Maria Sofia Love decided to put her twist on it.

She was seen in a skimpy, red one piece, seemingly making fun of the National Anthem as she held her hand to her crotch instead of above her heart, as is the custom. As the video continued, she gyrated and performed arguably lewd moves to the music, giving no respect at all for the National Anthem. Understandably, many netizens were upset.

Some netizens even brought up House Bill 5224 (HB 5224), which is an update on how the National Anthem should be performed and played. Obviously, Maria Sofia Love violated a lot of the bill’s provisions. Most pertinently, the part of the bill which states that “the national anthem must be sung with fervor following the prescribed lyrics and with a salute – with all persons standing at attention with their right palms over the left chests.”

The song may not also be played for “events of mere recreation, amusement or entertainment purposes” except for a few official exceptions. Should a person be found guilty of these laws, he or she will have to pay “a fine of not less than P50,000 but not exceeding P100,000.”

Netizens are now calling for everything from a public apology to incarceration. As of this writing, Maria Sofia Love has no statement on the matter.

What do you think of this? Should Maria Sofia Love be punished “para sa ekonomiya?” Tell us your thoughts on this issue in the comments section!

Facebook Live death caught on camera as woman records high-speed horror crash that killed her and left driver critically injured

THIS is the chilling moment a young woman live-streamed her own death when a car she was travelling in crashed into a barrier.

The haunting footage of the horrific last minutes of 22-year-old Nikol Barabasova shows her giggling as she begins a Facebook Live stream.

The Volkswagen was reportedly driving at more than 74.5 mph in Obrnice, Czech Republic when it struck a barrier.

But then in a split second Nikol lets out a yelp.

The clip shows the car shuddering while the driver appears to try to regain control.

Nikol is then thrust forward and the car then flips over.

The smartphone is dropped but the camera continues to film as it comes to rest below the seat belt.

The car is deadly silent with only the noise of the windscreen wipers which have been switched on in the crash.

Then another man can be heard, presumably another driver asking if the women are alright.

It took a member of the emergency services to reportedly stop the live-stream.

Local reports say Nikol was killed in the accident.

Friends and family have flooded her Facebook page with tributes following the crash on Friday.

One wrote: "I am deeply sorry for what happened to you....

"I am terribly sorry for all your loved ones and everyone who loved you. Deepest condolences."

Nikol's pal remains in a hospital intensive care unit with a serious head injury.

Police are investigating.

Experts just said that based on their analysis, the body that was found lived either in the time of the Ming Dynasty which ruled from 1368 to 1644 AD or Qing Dynasty that ruled from ruled 1644 to 1912 AD.

Based on the fine clothes that the corpse is wearing and the preserving materials that were used in his coffin, the discovered body was possibly a part of the high-ranked society back in his days, according to what the State Administration of Cultural Heritage of China officials said.

150-Year-Old Glass Coffin With a Little Girl In It Was Found In San Francisco Mansion!

The name of mysterious little girl in an expensive glass and metal coffin found buried in a casket underneath a San Francisco home has finally been identified. According to the source, she was Edith Howard Cook, the daughter of Horatio Nelson Cook, son of an English sea captain and Edith Scooffy Cook, daughter of a well-known Greek immigrant family. The young girl died on October 13, 1876, at the age of around 2-3 years old.

The girl who was also known as “Miranda Eve” was buried in the family plot in the San Francisco. According to the researchers, the cause of her death was probably severe undernourishment caused by an infection.

The DNA of Peter Cook, a Marin County resident, matched a hair sample from Edith, whose remains were well-preserved in the intricate casket. Cook is Edith’s grand nephew.

Information released reveals that Edith was born into two prominent families. Her mother was born into a San Francisco pioneer family, as her father was a famous foreigner in their area. Meanwhile, her father also served as a Consul for Greece.

Her skin and hair, as well as her burial flowers, were well preserved. Her coffin was found when workers remodeling a home hit it with a shovel. The homeowner, Ericka Karner, swiftly contacted the city, but the medical examiner’s office said that because the coffin was on private property, it was hers to deal with.

Ericka turned the ornate casket over to the Garden of Innocence, a charity that buries unclaimed children, to handle the girl’s affairs. Garden of Innocence stepped up to help Karner respectfully dispose of the remains. Edith was buried at Colma’s Greenlawn Memorial Park.
